Parental Stress Management, Resilience and Mindfulness
This topic I feel like we could do this at every Shift Your Thinking Summit. There are some amazing folks out there committed to helping families, parents children manage the stress and anxiety particularly in stress. We are really working on this section of the online resource page. There is some amazingly simple apps, meditations and we want you to truly understand the latest science and research about what meditation and mindfulness can do for the brain! The title may look and typically are 3 different topics however we feel that mindfulness is a very effective tool to manage stress and for most days their needs to be a steady stream of resilience to keep going, persevere, follow up and cope with all the ups and downs.
Dr. Sue Ball is going to speak about the importance of resilience in parenting and our children. I was introduced to Dr. Sue Ball by Jennifer Kolari (one of my favorite parenting go tos). Dr. Sue and Jennifer are working together at Connected Parenting. Dr. Sue Ball has dedicated her life to helping families, the Peel Board and now is on the advisory council of special education with the education minister.

She is one of our online experts from North Carolina. We had a wonderful organic candid interview on thriving when things are tough or when our kids are not doing well.
