Dr. Sue Ball
Dr. Sue Ball is a psychologist with over 18 years of experience. She is most passionate about the school district and province-wide work she has been involved in with the Ontario Government Ministry of Education, Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario (LDAO) and Learning Disabilities Association of York Region (LDAYR) to build the capacity of educators and parents to understand how to support student learning, resiliency and mental health. Sue was integrally involved in creating a module and waterfall document that shows how processing affects learning, including a specific focus on attention and executive functioning, and is passionate about helping students understand their learning profiles and how to advocate for themselves, both individually and on a system level. She shares the latest research on resiliency, mattering and self-compassion.
