Demystifying a Neuropsych Report: Making Sense of Confusing Numbers and Terms and Understanding Real-Life Implications for Your LD Child

with Dr. LindsEy Dogali

Neuropsychological evaluations provide a wealth of information about how your child thinks, processes, and learns. They are often a critical step in identifying the presence of any learning, attention or processing disabilities. However, many reports are 40+ pages long and filled with confusing numbers, scores, and clinical terminology (i.e., working memory, processing speed, phonological processing, rapid automatic naming… and many more)!

In this talk, Dr. Dogali will present this information in plain language and provide real-life examples and implications of each area assessed. For example, you will learn what tasks rely on working memory skills and how weaknesses can impact a child at home (i.e., daily routines!) and across all classes in school (i.e., reading comprehension! spelling! math facts! taking notes! The list goes on…).

The ultimate goal is to help YOU as parents, teachers, or other professionals get the most from a written report!
