Family Fun Kits and the Canadian Giving Challenge

Okay, so how does this all fit together? Here is the lowdown:
When you choose to donate to Shift Your Thinking this June, you will be supporting our Youth Program. This program was launched this year to help youth with learning differences to feel supported, to have a place to ask questions, to learn, and to build community. We have found that kids with learning differences benefit from this type of connection for improving their confidence, their outlook, their comfort with their difference, and their mental health. Your donation alone is incredible, but each dollar donated also gives us a great opportunity to win $20,000 for our charity (Bah! How incredible would THAT be?).
Both as a thank you for donating to us, and because we think that all families deserve to have a little bit of extra fun in their lives right now after you finish the donation process you will receive an email with an invitation to download our Family Fun Kits.
We have created these two kits (The Food Tour Kit and the Minute to Win It Kit) so that families can have templates to create an easy (but incredibly fabulous and fun!) day together.
The Food Tour Kit provides a scavenger-hunt like experience where you can use our pre-filled-in ideas for certain cities (Toronto, Kitchener-Waterloo, Grey-Bruce, Guelph and Newmarket) or our blank template, to visit lots of neat places in your city to taste the best ice cream, poutine, cookie, pizza, smoothie, burger and more. We have made it unique with templates to get the kids involved by planning mystery clues, packing suggestion lists for the road trip, and a place to include some music playlist ideas. A memory-filled day awaits!
The Minute to Win It Kit provides lists of activities and fun games that you can do with your family to have a laugh-out-loud kind of night at home with your loved ones. It also includes templates to allow you to plan some of your own fun activities. It includes a supply list, a funny family code of conduct, a playlist for a place to plan out all of your favourite tunes, and a score sheet to keep track of your results! A hilarious night in awaits!
Both kits can be used at your leisure - there is no set date or time that they have to be used by. Although we think that once you download them you will be eager to jump in on the family fun!
